OFFICIAL OPENING OF MICKLEFIELD MUGA
Micklefield Parish Council is pleased to announce the official opening of a new facility in Micklefield Recreation Ground. It's taken a while and there have been a few problems, including with funding, but the MUGA (multi use games area) is now ready to use.

Annual Audit of Accounts 2017 Completed
The audit of the Parish Council's accounts for the financial year ending 31 March 2017 has been completed. The external auditor, PKF Littlejohn LLP, has issued the 2016/17 certificate.

The Parish Council has ordered two skips for the village for the disposal of general household waste. They will be sited at the following locations:
St Mary's Walk Parking Area
Garden Village Garages
For the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of September.

Railway Improvements
Over the 2017 Easter period, Network Rail undertook essential line improvement works. The works will continue throughout the spring. Network Rail has provided a time-lapse video of the work achieved over the Easter weekend. Clean Leeds Community Event
Leeds City Council is holding a community event about flytipping, dog fouling, litter and general waste to tackle the problem collectively.
The event will be held on Thursday 23 February 2017, from 10am to 2pm, at Pudsey Civic Hall. The attached poster contains more information about the event.
