Funding for MUGA

The Parish Council's bid to the Tesco Bags of Help Fund for a grant towards the MUGA (multi use games area) has reached the public vote. Any purchase from Tesco earns a chip that can be used to vote for local projects; the one with the most votes is given the largest grant. New Council Member

At its meeting held on Thursday 6th October, Micklefield Parish Council co-opted Mr Dylan Brown to the Council. The Parish Council now has its full complement of nine members.

Annual Audit of Accounts 2016 Completed

The audit of the Parish Council's accounts for the financial year ending 31 March 2016 has been completed. The external auditor, PKF Littlejohn LLP, has issued the 2015/16 certificate, with no issues arising.

Micklefield Youth Activity Day

Leeds City Council Youth Services will be holding a free Youth Activity Day in Micklefield Recreation Ground, on Thursday 4th August, 12pm to 3pm. The event is free and is for 11 to 18 year olds.

Help for Community Groups

The Parish Council has donated £75.00 to Micklefield Tenants and Residents Association towards the cost of refreshments at MTRA's gala. The Parish Council also approved of a donation of £283.00 to the Community Defibrillator Responder Team for a Satnav and essential clothing.
