Northern Gas Networks will be undertaking its gas reinforcement project, beginning Tuesday 3rd January 2023 and lasting approximately 16 weeks, working Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

The works required are essential to reinforce the supply, giving a boost to the existing gas infrastructure in the area and will take place in Great North Road.

In order to carry out work safely and efficiently it will be necessary to have in place two-way traffic signals with potential of three-way traffic signals required at certain points if necessary due to the location of the gas main.
