Annual Parish Meeting

Micklefield Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Thursday 25th May, at Churchville House, Churchville Drive, to begin at 7.30pm.

The Annual Parish Meeting is a meeting of registered electors in the Parish of Micklefield, not a meeting of Micklefield Parish Council. Members of the public may speak during the meeting and vote on any proposals put forward.

Uncontested Election

Leeds City Council's Electoral Services received nine nominations for the office of council member for Micklefield Parish Council. As the Parish Council comprises nine members, there is no need to hold an election and the Returning Officer has reported that all the nominees have been elected.

The Parish Council has arranged the delivery of four skips for the use of residents, at the following locations:

- Churchville House

- St Mary's Walk

- West View (parking bay/turning point)

- Cliff Terrace (parking bay/turning point)

The skip provider has a number of rules for the use of the skips. Please follow them, as the company may refuse to provide skips in future if you don't.

Northern Gas Networks Improvement Works

Northern Gas Networks will be undertaking its gas reinforcement project, beginning Tuesday 3rd January 2023 and lasting approximately 16 weeks, working Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.
