On Thursday 2nd May 2019, elections will be held in various Parishes/Towns including Micklefield. For those wishing to stand for election, nomination papers can be obtained from Leeds City Council. At its meeting held on Thursday 4th January 2018, the Parish Council co-opted a new member - Cllr Dominic Kirkman. The Council has its full complement of nine members.

Council Vacancy
Unfortunately, the Parish Council has a member vacancy due to the resignation of Cllr Nigel Mullen. Mr Mullen was an active member of the Parish Council for several years and a member of six of its working groups.
